In August 1945 Frank Moore and his wife took an easy trip. Renting a pack horse at South Lake, they crossed Bishop Pass into the Palisade Basin. They then descended Dusy and ascended to the top of Le Conte Canyon. The return was by the same route.
The entire trip can be followed on the Mt. Goddard 15' Quadrangle.
